The End of the School Year

We really enjoyed school this year! Lukas completed Kindergarten, Theo Preschool and Frida did her own good work with play-dough, stringing beads! and producing her own art.

And to celebrate all the good work, we picked Papa up from work and went out to Culver's for lunch!

Theo is 4!!

Theo is 4! We love you Theo. You're thoughtful and silly and smart and creative, and very fast on your bike!!!

His very first trip around Lake Harriet was so amazing! My eyes were watering I had to run so fast to keep up with him!! But he was also very careful. As we now have two bikes and one stroller, we use the bike path, and he and Lukas did a great job staying over to the right in case anyone should need to pass. What a gift to Mama!! Thanks boys.

Here is a gift from Auntie Hanna - a nice puzzle! Theo loves puzzles - he often chooses them over a game when I ask which he'd like to do together. 

We have a new tradition in the last year or so, that we hide the birthday presents! Lukas helped Papa hide them this time. Here is the grand opening:

And on that great day we also went to Papa's favorite park by the river for some nettles foraging. Frida and I enjoyed our fine cuisine on the sand, while the men sat up on this perfect picnic perch:

I somehow missed taking photos of the birthday dessert!! It was ice cream with M&Ms :) and the next couple days we also enjoyed berries and cream. Theo requested all of them together, but I used my authority to spread out the magical dessert celebrations over the next few days. Here is day 4:
