The washer gave one final strong refusal to wash, after I think 16 years of service. The 8 years it spent under our ownership it made a mighty effort to compete with the neighborhood helicopters in noise and house-shaking. We cleaned up the room a bit. Daniel moved things around to go from stackable to side by side and built these nice shelves. I painted and cleaned. It's nice and bright. And the wonderfully quiet, efficient washer and dryer are in place.
For our school co-op gatherings in February we had an Olympics unit!!! Each family chose a country to represent and got to share with the group about that country. We also chose an olympic event to try to emulate. We chose Sweden, and made a cream cake in the shape of the flag. We didn't have cloudberries (yutron) or our colors would have been accurate.
As Grandma planned to be in FL for the month, we hired the most wonderful Abby 3 times this month. She was an excellent patient for these three doctors.
I'm not sure what this royal event was about, but I like the looks of it.
