Winter 2016-2017

I tried to make a photo album and was completely overwhelmed, so I decided to continue the blog. And Jacob and Hosanna said they'd read it if I did. So it's a pseudo way to interact with them while they are far far away.

This was our family Christmas photo. We'll probably never have a better family photo, so it must be recorded in the forever place of the interwebs:

Bunny, a backpack, longjohns and Mickey Mouse slippers with a Christmas tree in the background. Doesn't this make you want to be holding a mug of something hot?

The birthday boy with his firetruck cake. Uncle Noel and Auntie Heidi also have December birthdays, so he gets to celebrate with them!

Grandma is 93 in this Christmas visit, today she is 94 and still hoping to go home to Jesus soon.

This play kitchen was a gift from Grandpa and Grandma for Christmas and his birthday. He serves our family daily working in here:

Daniel had MLK Jr. Day off, so we went on a hike in the woods and had a cold picnic!

Creative indoor play:

I got flowers from Daniel. Sunshine in the winter!!

Matching Hoilien-Thomas Turkey Trot shirts

"Play-date" doesn't make me cry anymore. It never made him cry!

Uncle John and a favorite book, Honey Bunny

We spent a lot of time carrying babies around the house in our baby backpacks, anticipating the arrival of our baby:
