May

We are happy to present another set of Family Album Blog Entries after a pause. Of course children are a gift from the Lord and there is no where we'd rather be than here and now! But we are mere humans and have found ourselves a bit overwhelmed with life. My tiny babies have some weeks of lots of crying and we find ourselves wanting to hold the crying baby to try to offer some consolation. This often involves bouncing on the exercise ball and then falling into bed ourselves after an exhausting session of trying to help. This also often involves lists of THINGS UNDONE, like photos, and the blog, and cleaning the bathrooms. We also were set back in our go-getter pace of life by a broken foot. We are thankful that God is real, and that he helps, and that he doesn't despise our weakness and slowness like we do.

The Heidi Photo Shoot
Heidi came over with her nice camera and took these:

Frida's Dedication
We like to remind ourselves that Frida belongs to the Lord and we have the privilege of being the ones who get to raise her. This involves a little ceremony at church. Most of my family was able to come!

Spring Beauty in the Yard
One thing I love about Daniel is that he sees and appreciates beauty. When I get out of the van, I wrestle the children and strive to make it inside without losing my temper. When Daniel gets out of the van, he stretches, looks around, cups a small flower in his hand and smiles.

The back garden, in our parking lot:

Our fire hydrant decorations from Susan:

Outdoor Adventures
We like to be outside. Here's an ambitious picnic when Frida was less than 1 month old:

Hidden Falls park is a favorite, for foraging nettles, and for throwing rocks and sticks in the water!!

Dinner on the back porch is also very nice. Now this is on pause until it's finished! The front porch is a very nice substitute.

More photos of the little people we love
