What a day, we can't believe he's 5! We started off with not just presents, but hidden presents!

And then we had birthday fika. Lukas requested cream cake with berries. I baked it and Daniel made it beautiful:

Lukas got this coloring book from Auntie Hanna right on his birthday, along with some fancy crayons! Lukas has really taken off with his fine motor skills. This was the first coloring sheet where he took the time to color every little detail. In the 2 weeks since then his coloring has gotten even better, including cutting (see Chase, below). We've really enjoyed watching him take off with art things. He also has quite a collection of birds he's drawn (some with help) and cut out (no help), with which he does a bird show, just like at the zoo.
